South Africa will be hosting the
2013 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), which will run from 19 January 2013 to 10 February 2013. The host cities of Africa's biggest football tournament are
Port Elizabeth/Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Municipality (Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium),
Rustenburg (Royal Bafokeng Stadium),
Durban/eThekwini (Moses Mabhida Stadium) and
Nelspruit/Mbombela (Mbombela Stadium). The opening and closing ceremonies of the 2013 Afcon will be played at
Johannesburg's Soccer City, also known as FNB Stadium.
Tickets are on sale since 26 Sept 2012. Ticket prices range from R50 to R200 for the more expensive seats in the stands. Fans can buy their tickets and special kiosks in selected
Spar stores across
South Africa or via the Local Organising Committee’s call centre on 087 980 3000.
