New promotional video: "KZN has it all – it is yours to discover!"

Tourism KwaZulu-Natal, responsible for the development, promotion and marketing of tourism into and within KwaZulu-Natal, has released a new promotional video. The video highlights KwaZulu-Natal's tourism highlights and invites the future traveller to come, visit and experience the Zulu Kingdom.  
KwaZulu-Natal, which has roughly the size of Portugal, is located in the southeast of South Africa along the shoreline of the Indian Ocean. It is sharing borders with three other South African provinces (Free State, Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape) and the countries of Mozambique, eSwatini and Lesotho.

Hardap Resort: Namibia Wildlife Resorts releases new promotional video!

Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), the state-owned enterprise mandated to run the tourism facilities within the protected areas of Namibia, has released a new promotional video showcasing Hardap Resort. The Resort is situated about 260 km south of Windhoek and about 25km west of Mariental in Namibia's Hardap Region. It surrounds the Hardap Dam, Namibia's largest dam, which lies on the Fish River. Hardap Dam is an angler's paradise, while Hardap Resort's Hardap Game Reserve is is a haven for black thinos and also home to giraffes, gemsboks, springboks, kudus, Hartmann’s mountain zebras, black backed jackals as well as to one of the three largest great white pelican breeding colonies in Namibia


NWR manages the accommodation in Hardap Resort, which includes 5 VIP bungalows, 15 family chalets (each with 4 beds), 30 bush chalets (each with 2 beds, 28 campsites (each can take 8 people) as well as 4 dormitories (each with 10 beds). Hardap Resort also has a restaurant, a shop, swimming pool and conference facilities.

South Africa: Tourism KwaZulu-Natal has released an inspirational "we will see you soon" video!

KwaZulu-Natal's provincial tourism agency, Tourism KwaZulu-Natal, has released a new video to inspire potential travellers from around the world to visit the province once the coronavirus pandemic is over and travelling is possible again. The one-minute-long video showcases some of the most picturesque locations and attractions KwaZulu-Natal has to offer and reminds all travellers that the Kingdom of Zululand might deserve a top position on the bucket list once the lockdown ends. eSwatini Tourism released eight new official tourism videos! [update]

update (26 November 2019): eSwatini Tourism has released an additional video titled "South East Eswatini - Wildlife Up Close".

eSwatini Tourism has released a number of videos about eSwatini, previously known as Swaziland and one of Lonely Planet's top countries for travel in 2020. All eight videos are focussing on different topics of tourists interests - from culture to scenery, wildlife and activities as well as regional highlights. Switch the video to full screen, put your headphones on, lean back and enjoy about 13 minutes about the Kingdom of eSwatini. Kudos eSwatini Tourism.

Cape Town Tourism releases "Love Cape Town, The Movie"! [update]

update (30 May 2020): "Love Cape Town, The Movie" has been awarded the first prize in the "Tourism Destination – City" category at the International Tourism Film Festival, Africa Awards (ITTF Africa). Congratulations!

Cape Town Tourism has released a new, ten minute promotional video about Cape Town. "Love Cape Town, The Movie" showcases (almost) everything the Mother City has to offer - from nature to adventure, delectable food, and accommodation to suit every traveller. SANParks released a new video about Agulhas National Park!

South African National Parks (SANParks) has released a new promotional about Agulhas National Park in the Southern Overberg region of the Western Cape. The video highlights the major tourist attractions and main characteristics in the National Park and invites the viewers to discover the legendary Cape of Storms, to stand at the Southernmost tip of Africa, to explore the historic Cape Agulhas lighthouse and to marvel at the shipwrecks that dot Agulhas National Park's rugged, beautiful coastline.


 
Agulhas National Park stretches along the coastal plain between the towns of Gansbaai and Struisbaai in South Africa's Western Cape. It can be accessed via the N2 highway, which runs from Cape Town along the east coast via the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth. Coming from the west (Cape Town > Port Elizabeth) travellers must turn off at Caledon and pass through Bredasdorp; from the east (Port Elizabeth > Cape Town), travellers must leave the N2 near Swellendam and pass through Bredasdorp to get to Agulhas National Park.

South African Tourism has released nine two-minute video about the nine provinces of South Africa on Youtube. Each video portrays one of the provinces and highlights the major tourist attractions and main characteristics of the provinces. Unfortunately, South African Tourism did not provide any further information about the videos. Anyway, switch the videos to full screen, put your headphones on, sit back and enjoy the beauty of South Africa

The Kingdom of Eswatini released a new official tourism video!

Eswatini Tourism has released a second tourism video for the Kingdom of Eswatini (or eSwatini) within two month. The short video, which is also produced by Californian production company Backpacker Films, highlights the beauty and diversity of attractions the smallest country in Southern Africa, Eswatini (or eSwatini), formerly known as Swaziland, has to offer. Enjoy!



The Kingdom of Swaziland was renamed the Kingdom of Eswatini (or eSwatini) by King Mswati III at the 50th anniversary celebrations of the country's independence (and his 50th birthday) on 19 April 2018.

Namibia Tourism Board released a new official tourism video!

The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), the regulatory and marketing body for tourism activities in Namibia, has released a brand new tourism video for Namibia. The 2:30 minute video highlights a good selection of the country's main tourist attractions. Unfortunately, the NTB did not release any more information regarding the new film.

Eswatini Tourism has released a brand new tourism video for the Kingdom of Eswatini (or eSwatini) on today's World Tourism Day 2018. The short video, which is produced by Californian production compaly Backpacker Films, highlights the beauty and diversity of attractions the smallest country in Southern Africa, Eswatini (or eSwatini), formerly known as Swaziland, has to offer. New image video: The Kruger Lowveld 2018!

Kruger Lowveld Tourism has released the new 2018 image video for the Kruger Lowveld. The region is located in South Africa's Mpumalanga Province and is bordered by the towns of Komatipoort in the east, Lydenburg/Mashishing in the west, Barberton in the south and Hoedspruit in the north. Other well-known towns and places of interest in the Kruger Lowveld include Sabie, Graskop, Pilgrim's Rest, Hazyview, Nelspruit/Mbombela, as well as the Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route and the Barberton Makhonjwa Geotrail. Eastern Cape: "Explore Route 72 on the Sunshine Coast" (video)

The Emfuleni Corridor Tourism Association (ECTOUR), an umbrella body of tourism associations from various tourism nodes across South Africa's Eastern Cape, has released a new image video highlighting the various attractions travellers can experience along the Route 72 on the Sunshine Coast.

 
South Africa's Sunshine Coast stretches along the Route 72 from Port Elizabeth in the west along about 300 km of sandy beaches to East London in the east, and northwards to the historically rich region of the Frontier Country. Attractions include some of the world's best sandy beaches, dune fields and sandstone rocky outcrops, a full variety of water sports (including world class surfing, sailing and snorkelling), quality golf courses, historical trails, a variety of Eco-walks and attractions, many annual festivals and welcoming locals.

The video was produced for (and by?) Malawi's Department of Tourism or rather Malawi Tourism (visitmalawi.mw).
