The largest Indian airline, Jet Airways, announced the temporary suspension of the airline's A330 Mumbai <> Johannesburg service effective June 12th, 2012. Last flight for the 5 weekly operation is scheduled to be on 11 June 2012.
Jet Airways promised that it will work closely with it’s interline partners to ensure that affected guests are rebooked on alternate flights for their travel from 12 June 2012 , in order to minimize any inconvenience caused.
Jet Airways is currently connecting 24 international destinations and is operating flights to and from 52 destinations in India. The airline's main hub is Mumbai, with secondary hubs at six other Indian airports. Jet Airways has also an international hub at Brussels Airport, Belgium.
