Rwanda's national carrier Rwandair is expanding its regional network in East Africa. From 02 July 2012 the airline will operate three weekly flights between Kigali and Mwanza in Tanzania.
Mwanza, the country's second largest city, is a port city located on the southern shores of Lake Victoria in northwestern Tanzania. The City is one of the unique destinations in Tanzania that is still a bit off the beaten path. Mwanza, and the surrounding areas even more, are full of destinations travellers love, such as Ukerewe Island, of course Lake Victoria, the Biharamulo Game Reserve, the Burigi Game Reserve and the Rumanyika Game Reserve, as well as the Rubondo Island National Park, the Maswa National Park and the Serengeti National Park.
