2012 Travelers' Choice® awards: Top 25 destinations in Africa

The winners of the 2012 Travelers' Choice® Destinations awards have been announced by Tripadvisor. In the fourth year of the awards, a total of 440 outstanding destinations in 37 markets across the globe, including lists for Africa (see below), Asia, Europe, the United States and many more have been honored.
The Travelers' Choice® Destinations awards honor top travel spots worldwide based on millions of valuable reviews and opinions from Tripadvisor travelers. Award winners were determined based on the popularity of destinations, taking into account travellers' favorites and most highly rated places.
