Mack Air & South West Aviation to offer flights services across Zimbabwe!

Mack Air, the first private commercial operator in Botswana to hold both scheduled and non-scheduled licenses, has announced a collaboration with South West Aviation, an air charter service in Zimbabwe. Through this relationship, the two companies aim to jointly create new flight services linking Mack Air’s established Botswana network, with a new and expansive network service across Zimbabwe. The first Cessna Grand Caravan EX has been positioned in Zimbabwe, is currently operational, and MackAir expects to expand the fleet by March 2023 to an additional five aircraft and result in the partnership operating a fleet of six aircraft for the 2023 season in Zimbabwe. This fleet of aircraft will be operating from two principle hubs in Harare and Victoria Falls.
The hub in Harare will principally service all domestic destinations and safari camps in Zimbabwe as well as neighbouring regional business and tourist destinations in Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique. The hub in Victoria Falls will principally service all domestic destinations and safari camps in Zimbabwe, as well as neighbouring tourist destinations in Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Zambia.

Mack Air to launch "The Hwange Circuit" air service in Zimbabwe in April 2022!

Mack Air, the first private commercial operator in Botswana to be granted an International Scheduled Service License, and Zimbabwean private charter company Central Air Transport Services (CATS) are set to launch a new air service between Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) in Victoria Falls and airstrips in the Hwange and surrounding areas. "The Hwange Circuit" will be launched in April 2022 and will be connecting the following destinations: Victoria Falls International Airport (VAF), Robin's Camp, Sinamatella, Hwange National Park Airport (HWN), Giraffe Springs, Hwange National Park, Umtshibi, Manga, Linkwasha, Jozibanini and Bomani.

Zimbabwe: Mack Air to launch daily flights between Victoria Falls <> Hwange!

Mack Air to launch a daily 20-minute flight between Botswana and Zimbabwe!

Mack Air, a private air charter airline based in Maun (Botswana), is set to become the first airline offering international scheduled flights between Kasane in Botswana and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Effective 01 May 2021, the airline will be offering daily return flights from Kasane International Airport (BBK) in Kasane to Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) in Victoria Falls. Flights, which will be operated aboard one of Mack Air's air-conditioned Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft, will depart from Kasane at 11:00, arriving in Victoria Falls at 11:20. The return flight will depart from Victoria Falls at 12:00 and arrive in Kasane at 12:20.

Botswana: Mack Air to launch scheduled services between Maun <> Windhoek!

Mack Air, a private air charter airline based in Maun (Botswana), is set to launch scheduled flights between Maun Airport (MUB) in Maun and Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) in Windhoek. Effective April 2020, the airline will operate three weekly return flights to Namibia's capital on board a Cessna Grand Caravan C208 EX with a capacity of 10 passengers. Bookings will open on 01 December 2019. According to the State Of The Nation Address by Botswana's President Mokgweetsi Masisi (18 November 2019), the airline has not only been licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) to carry out scheduled services between Maun and Windhoek but also between Kasane and Victoria Falls. Air Zimbabwe & Mack Air (Botswana) to launch the "Flame Lily Hoppa" air service!

The flag carrier of Zimbabwe, Air Zimbabwe, and Botswana-based private airline Mack Air have signed an agreement for the launch of the "Flame Lily Hoppa" air service. The agreement includes the imminent launch of daily domestic scheduled flights in Zimbabwe between Victoria Falls, Harare as well as the country's major tourist destinations including Hwange, Kariba and Chiredzi. The "Flame Lily Hoppa" air service will additionally operate flights to camps and lodges within the environ of these major tourist destinations. Also included in the agreement are daily regional scheduled flights between Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa and Mozambique. Flights will be operated using a blend of brandnew Cessna Grand Caravan EX (operated by Mack Air) and Embraer 145 jet aircraft (operated by Air Zimbabwe). We'll keep you posted!
