update (02 May 2022): Proflight Zambia is re-launching its direct service between Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport (NLA) in Ndola and OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg on 18 May 2022.
Zambian airline Proflight Zambia has announced the resumption of flights between Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport (NLA) in Ndola in the Copperbelt Province in northern Zambia and OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg, South Africa. Effective 25 April 2022, flights from Ndola will operate three times a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, departing at 08:10 and arriving in Johannesburg at 10:40. Flights from Johannesburg depart on the same days at 12:30, arriving in Ndola at 15:00. Two additional flights on Sunday and Monday depart Johannesburg at 14:30 and arrive in Ndola at 17:00. The route will be operated by the Bombardier CRJ-100/200 50 seat Jet aircraft with onward connections onto the Cemair and FlySafair networks to other destinations in South Africa and beyond.
