Travellers planning a visit to the |Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park can once again stay at Tatasberg Wilderness Camp, following its temporary closure due to high water levels in the Orange River.
South African National Parks (SANParks) has confirmed that the camp has officially reopened after water levels in the Orange River receded. The |Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park management has inspected and prepared the facilities ahead of welcoming guests back, with the necessary checks carried out to ensure that the camp is safe and ready for visitors.
Travellers planning an overnight stay at Tatasberg Wilderness Camp can therefore resume their travel arrangements. However, given the remote location and challenging terrain of the Richtersveld, it is advisable to check with SANParks for the latest park and road conditions before setting off.
