Tripadvisor: Top 10 Beach Destinations in Africa

Travel website TripAdvisor announced the winners of its annual 2012 Travelers’ Choice® Beach Destinations awards. 180 top beach locations were named around the world, covering 21 regions. The award winners were determined based on the most highly rated beach destinations by travelers in TripAdvisor reviews.
The top rated beach destination in the 2012 Travelers’ Choice® Beach Destinations awards is Providenciales on Turks and Caicos, followed by Palm/Eagle Beach on Aruba and Tulum in Mexico. The only African beaches in TripAdvisor's Top 25 World Beach Destinations are Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam in Egypt, but according to TripAdvisor, Egypt is part of the Middle East and not part of Africa...
