South African privately-owned regional carrier Airlink is set introduce three more routes to Mozambique. Effective 28 October 2020, the airline will launch a two weekly service between OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and Pemba Airport (POL) in Pemba. From 10 November 2020, Airlink will offer two weekly flights between Johannesburg and Vilanculos Airport (VNX) in Vilanculos as well as two weekly flights between Johannesburg and Beira Airport (BEW) in Beira. These services provide travellers with seamless connectivity with Airlink's new services linking Johannesburg with Cape Town and also with Durban. Connections are also available to the airline's other South African destinations and to key destinations throughout the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
