Fastjet (Mozambique) has announced that it will suspend all of its domestic flight operations in Mozambique, effective midnight 26 October 2019. All flights, including the codeshare arrangements with LAM Mozambique Airlines to Maputo, Tete, Beira and Quelimane, will be suspended from midnight 26 October 2019 until further notice. Customers holding bookings on flights on or after 27 October 2019 will be entitled to a full refund. Affected customers of fastjet (Mozambique) are advised to contact the airline for further details.
According to Fastjet's (Mozambique) press release, the decision to suspend services from the routes followed a comprehensive review of all the services being offered in Mozambique. The suspension of flights in Mozambique does not affect any of the operations of fastjet (Zimbabwe) which continues to operate services between Harare, Johannesburg, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls.
