West Coast National Park: Gate closure due to Langebaan Country Estate Cycle Challenge 2019!

South African National Parks (SANParks) has announced that the gates of the West Coast National Park will be closed from 07:00 to 13:00 on 09 November 2019 due to a sporting event being held on this day. The National Park's internal road system should be used for emergencies only on 09 November 2019. The Langebaan Country Estate Cycle Challenge 2019, which partially winds through the West Coast National Park, is an annual cycling event that has been rated one of the highest scoring Pedal Power Association (PPA) fun rides in South Africa. 

The gate times will be as follows on 09 November 2019:

• West Coast Gate Road To Kraal Bay - closed from 07:00 until 13:00
• Langebaan Gate To T-Junction - closed from 07:00 until 13:00
