Following the suspension of all Air Namibia flights from airports in South Africa operated by the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) on 16 October 2019, the airline has now confirmed that a way was found to avoid the ban and that it continues to fly in and out of South Africa. ACSA suspended Air Namibia from its airports due to an outstanding amount owed to the company by the airline. According to a press release by Air Namibia, the airline has made a partial payment on the same day, which allows Air Namibia to continue operations between Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) in Windhoek and King Shaka International Airport (DUR) in Durban, OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town. We'll keep you posted!
