South African National Parks (SANParks) just announced that maintenance work will be done around the Lighthouse precinct at Cape Point in the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park over the next five evenings (10 - 14 October 2019). Work will commence from 16:00 and finish at sunset. This is essential maintenance work which consists of painting the historic lighthouse and the removal of graffiti. The work has been scheduled to impact visitors as little as possible, therefore SANParks ask visitors to adhere to all safety signage during this period.
