Zimbabwe relaxes visa regulations for travellers from China!

The Government of Zimbabwe has reviewed the visa regulations for travellers from China. As of 01 July 2018, Chinese nationals intending to visit Zimbabwe, whether travelling as a group or individually, can obtain visas at the country's ports of entry. Previously, only Chinese tourists travelling as a group cleared by tour operators and travel agencies in China qualified for a visa on arrival. Zimbabwe's migration management system comprises a three-tier visa model classified into categories A, B and C:

• Category A: Countries whose nationals do not require a visa to visit Zimbabwe
• Category B: Countries whose nationals are granted a visa at Zimbabwe's port of entry/on arrival (visa fees apply)
• Category C: Countries whose nationals are required to apply for and obtain a visa prior to travelling to Zimbabwe
