South African privately-owned regional carrier Airlink has announced the introduction of an additional frequency between OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and Pemba Airport (POL) in the port city of Pemba in in northern Mozambique. Effective 15 March 2021, the airline will operate a third weekly return flight on board an Embraer ERJ-135. The additional flight be on Mondays and will depart Johannesburg at 09:30 and will arrive in Pemba at 12:20, while the return flights will depart Pemba at 12:50 and will arrive in Johannesburg at 16:10.
