update (12 October 2020): Qatar Airways has canceled the planed resumption of flights between Doha and Windhoek on 15 October 2020. According to media reports, the airline is now planning to resume flights to Namibia's capital in March 2021. We'll keep you posted!
The state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways, is set to resume scheduled flights between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha and Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) in Windhoek, Namibia. Effective 15 October 2020, the airline will operate three weekly return flights to Namibia's capital. Qatar Airways' onboard safety measures for passengers and cabin crew include the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for cabin crew and a complimentary protective kit and disposable face shields for passengers.
