Uganda: Entebbe International Airport reopens on 01 October 2020! [update]

update (17 September 2020): Qatar Airways has confirmed that it will resume flights between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha and Entebbe International Airport (EBB) in Entebbe. Effective 02 October 2020, the airline will operate three weekly return flights to Entebbe.

Uganda's international airport, Entebbe International Airport (EBB) in Entebbe, is set to reopen on 01 October 2020 after nearly five months of closure over the coronavirus pandemic. According to a preliminary three-month schedule (effective 01 October 2020) published by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), the country's national airline Uganda Airlines and various international airlines, such as Kenya Airways, Qatar Airways, Air Tanzania, Ethiopian Airlines, FlyDubai, RwandAir, KLM, Turkish Airlines, Emirates and Brussels Airlines, are planning to resume flights to Uganda.
