The South African National Parks Week grants South African day visitors free access to most of the 21 national parks in South Africa, with special emphasis on ensuring that people from local communities close to parks get to know and experience a national park. Like in the previous years, free entry excludes Namaqua National Park as well as Boulders Penguin Colony and the Table Mountain Cableway in Table Mountain National Park. It should be noted that free access to the National Parks does not in include free access to accommodation facilities and other tourist activities. Additional National Park-specific information to follow soon. We'll keep you posted!
