update (31 January 2020): The launch date has been postponed to 14 October 2020. Qatar Airways will operate four weekly flights between Doha and Luanda.
The state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways, is set to launch a new service between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha and Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport (LAD) in Luanda in Angola. Effective 29 March 2020, the airline will operate up to five weekly return flights on board a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, featuring 22 seats in business class and 232 in economy. Qatar Airways currently operates a state of the art fleet of more than 250 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (DOH) to more than 160 destinations worldwide.
