Not only South African National Parks (SANParks), CapeNature, the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) and Limpopo Wildlife Resorts are offering free entry into National Parks and Nature Reserves in September 2019, but also Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. On every Friday during September 2019 ("Mahhala Fridays"), the first 200 South Africans at any Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife protected area (except for iSimangaliso Wetland Park) will get free access. In order to be allowed free access, visitors will be required to present their South African Identity documents. Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, which is the governmental organisation responsible for maintaining wildlife conservation areas and biodiversity in KwaZulu-Natal, manages more than 120 protected areas in the province.
