Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines, a subsidiary of Ethiopian Airlines, has launched domestic operations in Mozambique on 01 December 2018. The airline initially serves eight domestic destinations including the country's capital Maputo, Nampula, Tete, Pemba, Beira, Nacala, Quelimane and Chimoio. Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines plans to gradually introduce three hubs in the north, south and central regions of Mozambique. According to Routesonline (October 2018), the airline operates with a fleet of Boeing 737 and Dash8-Q400 in Mozambique. Ethiopian Mozambique Airlines is the third airline in Mozambique following the national LAM Mozambique Airlines and FastJet.
