Zambian regional airline Proflight Zambia is set to expand its network with the launch of a new seasonal route connecting Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN) in Lusaka and Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI) in Livingstone to Maun Airport (MUB) in Maun, Botswana, starting May 2026. The seasonal service will operate three times per week until October 2026, enhancing air connectivity between two of Southern Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations — Victoria Falls and the Okavango Delta.
Announced by Proflight Zambia CEO Anthony Irwin at the 55th Airlines Association of Southern Africa (AASA) Annual General Assembly held in Lusaka from 16 to 19 October 2025, the new route underscores the airline’s commitment to supporting tourism and trade in the region. By linking Zambia’s capital, Lusaka, and Livingstone - its premier tourism hub on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls - with Maun, the gateway to Botswana's Okavango Delta, Proflight Zambia aims to make multi-destination travel across Southern Africa easier and more accessible.
