The flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air, is going to suspend its service between Bahrain International Airport and Nairobi in Kenya from 13 November 2012. The airline, which will cancel the flights due to "commercial reasons", is currently operating three weekly flights between the two destinations.
Gulf Air previously announced a reduction in its Bahrain <> Nairobi service from six weekly flights to five weekly flights effective Winter 2012 (Winter season usually starts on 28 Oct 2012).

Gulf Air to increase flights between Bahrain & Nairobi
update (13 June 2012): Gulf Air will reduce its Bahrain <> Nairobi (Kenya) service from 6x weekly to 5x weekly during winter season (around 28 Oct 2012).
The national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air, will increase its flights between Bahrain and Nairobi in Kenya from 5 to 7 times a week in each direction, from 01 June 2012, to meet growing passenger numbers.
Gulf Air, a member of the oneworld airline alliance, is currently operating an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration of 16 seats in Falcon Gold and 120 in Economy, and has the capacity to carry four tons of freight to and from Nairobi.

Gulf Air to increase Bahrain <> Nairobi service
update (22 Feb 2012): Gulf Air will operate the service with two sets of schedules, replacing the previously planned unified schedule.

Gulf Air launches services to Entebbe, Juba and Rome

The Kingdom of Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air announced the launch of services to three more new destinations - Rome, the Italian capital, Entebbe, the hub of Uganda’s commercial sector and Juba, the capital of newly independent country, South Sudan.
Flights to Rome will begin from 30 November 2011 (four flights per week), while flights to Entebbe will begin from 05 December 2012 (four flights per week) and to Juba from 07 February 2012 (three flights per week).
Inclunding the three new destinations, Gulf Air operates scheduled services to 49 destinations in 30 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe. It has extensive codeshare agreements with other airlines and special partnerships with Jet Airways and Oman Air's Frequent Flyer Programmes.

Gulf Air launched services to Nairobi, Kenya
The national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air, is now offfering flights to Nairobi in Kenya. The inaugural flight took off from Bahrain International Airport on 05 July 2011.
The airline is running two return flights to Nairobi a week and is operating an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration of 16 seats in Falcon Gold and 120 in Economy, and has the capacity to carry four tons of freight to the Kenyan capital.

Gulf Air to launch services to Nairobi, Kenya
Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain today announced the launch of services to Nairobi, the capital of Kenya from 5th July with four flights per week.
Gulf Air will be operating an Airbus A320 in a two-class configuration of 16 seats in Falcon Gold and 120 in Economy, and has the capacity to carry 4 tons of freight to Nairobi. Flights to Nairobi are subject to the required clearances being obtained.
