South Africa: FlySafair to launch new Cape Town – Hoedspruit route!

South African low-cost airline FlySafair is expanding its domestic network with the introduction of a brand-new route between Cape Town and Hoedspruit. Starting 02 October 2025, the airline will operate three weekly direct flights between Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town and Eastgate Airport (HDS) in Hoedspruit, Limpopo.
Flights will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, enhancing access to central Kruger National Park and the surrounding private game reserves in the Limpopo Province. This new route is a welcome addition for travellers heading to one of South Africa’s top safari destinations.
The launch follows FlySafair’s recent recognition as Africa’s Best Low-Cost Airline at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2025, highlighting the carrier’s growing commitment to both domestic connectivity and tourism development.
In a further boost to Kruger-bound travel, FlySafair has also increased its Cape Town – Mbombela (Nelspruit) service to daily flights. With Hoedspruit and Mbombela serving as gateways to the central and southern Kruger National Park  respectively, the expanded schedule provides greater flexibility and convenience for safari-goers.
