Zambia: Proflight Zambia expands flights to Johannesburg and adjusts Cape Town schedule!

Zambian airline Proflight Zambia is expanding its flight schedule between Lusaka and Johannesburg to meet increased demand during the peak travel period. From 27 September 2025 until early January 2026, the airline will introduce a third daily flight on peak travel days, including Saturdays, Sundays, and selected holiday season dates.
The new evening service (Flight P0029) will depart OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg at 20:30 and arrive in Kenneth Kaunda International Airport (LUN) in Lusaka at 22:30. The return flight P0028 will leave Lusaka at 16:30 and arrive in Johannesburg at 18:30 on the same days. Additional weekday flights will be available during the holiday peak from 01 December 2025 to 03 January 2026, enhancing international connectivity and passenger convenience.

Proflight Zambia
will continue operating direct flights between Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town and Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI) in Livingstone as well as between Cape Town and Lusaka via Livingstone. These routes are available on Thursdays and Sundays.
In response to passenger feedback, the Lusaka to Cape Town flight will shift to a later morning departure starting 07 August 2025. The updated schedules are:
