According to Air Connect Namibia, a collaborative air service development initiative led by the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) and mandated to improve air access to Namibia, South African Airways (SAA) is set to increase its service to Windhoek. The South African flag carrier will commence a third daily frequency connecting OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg from with Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) in Windhoek on 27 October 2024. The new frequency will be serviced by SAA’s modern Airbus A320 fleet.
