Nationals from these 31 countries will soon need a visa to enter Namibia!

The Namibian Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security has published a media release regarding the implementation of visa requirement for non-reciprocating countries. According to the media release, the decision to introduce an entry-visa requirement to countries that have not reciprocated the favourable treatment granted to their national when visiting Namibia is aimed at fostering fair and ballanced diplomatic relations. It will affect a total of 31 countries.
The date of implementation and application of the new visa regulation will be communicated at a later stage. We'll keep you posted!

Nationals from the following countries will be issued with visas upon arrival in Namibia at an applicable fee in addition to online visa application:

  3. Azerbajian
  4. Belarus
  5. Belgium
  6. Canada
  7. Denmark
  8. Finland
  9. France
  10. Germany
  11. Iceland
  12. Ireland
  13. Italy
  14. Japan
  15. Kazakstan
  16. Kygyzistan
  17. Liechtenstein
  18. Luxemburg
  19. Moldova
  20. Netherlands
  21. Norway
  22. Portugal
  23. Spain
  24. Sweden
  25. Switzerland
  26. Tajikistan
  27. Turkmenistan
  28. Ukraine
  29. United Kingdom
