South African National Parks (SANParks) has announced entry time changes as well as the introduction of cashless systems at two entry points into Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town. From the start of the new financial year, card machines will be active at Oudekraal Picnic Site and Newlands Picnic Site. Silvermine continues to take cash as there is no signal or electricity in this location to have a machine on site. Cape of Good Hope/Cape Point and Boulders Penguin Colony are alreday a cash-free environment; only payments via debit and credit cards are accepted.
