Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), the state-owned enterprise mandated to run the tourism facilities within the protected areas of Namibia, has announced that several of its facilities are currently facing fuel shortages. This started already a couple of days ago and will continue until further notice. NWR is advising visitors to carry additional fuel. The following facilities are affected by fuel shortages:
- Terrace Bay Resort, Skeleton Coast National Park
- Halali Resort, Etosha National Park
- Waterberg Resort, Waterberg Plateau Park
- Sesriem Campsite, Namib Naukluft Park
- /Ai-/Ais Hotsprings & Spa, /Ai-/Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park
