The flag carrier of Turkey, Turkish Airlines, will increase its five-weekly service between Istanbul and Mombasa (Kenya) via Kilimanjaro (Tanzania). Effective 27 Oct 2013, the airline will operate daily flights between the three destinations instead of the current five frequencies per week. Turkish Airlines launched the route in December 2012.
Turkish Airlines, a Star Alliance member since 2008, currently operates scheduled services to 197 international and 37 domestic airports, serving a total of 234 airports, in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
