Fly540, a regional low-cost carrier based in Nairobi (Kenya), has signed its first international interline agreement with Qatar Airways. According to the agreement, Qatar Airways' passengers will be able to connect with Fly540 flights at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and fly to destinations within Fly540's network using one itinerary. Fly540's network includes destinations such as Eldoret in the Rift Valley, Kisumu at Lake Victoria, the island of Lamu, Malindi and Mombasa in Kenya's coast province as well as Juba in South Sudan and Zanzibar (Tanzania). Qatar Airways is currently operating two daily flights between Doha, capital of the State of Qatar, and Nairobi.
