African budget airline, Fastjet, has been granted permission by the relevant governments to launch international flights from Tanzania (Dar Es Salaam) to Rwanda (Kigali), Zambia (Lusaka) and South Africa (Johannesburg). The airline will soon be announcing launch dates for flights to its new destinations.
According to Ed Winter, CEO and Chairman of Fastjet, the introduction of domestic routes in South Africa is temporarily on hold, as the airline decided to focus on directing all its efforts towards its international services first. We'll keep you posted!
Great news!
