South African budget carrier Kulula, a subsidiary of British Airways franchise Comair, announced that it will launch flights between Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport and East London (Eastern Cape). The airline will operate two daily return flights between the two destinations onboard a new 189-seater Boeing 737-800 from 28 March 2013. Bookings for the flights will open on 28 November 2012.
To meet the current demand, Kulula will also be increasing the frequency of flights between Johannesburg <> Durban and Johannesburg <> George.
