The Guardian (UK) names Cape Town the holiday hotspot 2014

Cape Town has not only been named one of the top cities to visit in Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2014, Best City in the 2013 Telegraph Travel Awards and number one on the prestigious New York Times’ 52 Places to go in 2014 list, but also The Guardian's holiday hotspot 2014. 

The British national daily newspaper names the following reasons why Cape Town is the holiday hotspot 2014:

• Cape Town is the World Design Capital 2014
• The Old Biscuit Mill and the Neighbourgoods Market in Woodstock
• Luke Dale-Roberts' restaurants the The Test Kitchen (Eat Out's best restaurant in South Africa 2013) and the Pot Luck Club & Gallery
• the Victorian steam-punk themed cafe Truth Coffee (billed as the world's coolest cafe)
