update (06 September 2024): ACSA has informed the public that the power disruptions at OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg has been resolved.
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has confirmed that OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg is currently experiencing power outages. The airport is therefore operating on essential supply only. According to ACSA, technicians are on site and managing the issue. ACSA is urging passengers to allocate extra travel time for departing flights. We'll keep you posted!
