South African regional carrier Airlink has announced the temporary suspension of all flights to Mthatha Airport (UTT) in Mthatha in South Africa's Eastern Cape. This is due to continued adverse weather conditions impacting landing requirements, and all airport/landing approach procedures being currently suspended. Flights to and from Mthatha will resume as soon as the weather improves. According to Airlink, weather forecasts indicate improvement by Tuesday, 10 September 2024. We'll keep you posted!
