Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema announced during the state funeral of Namibia's former President Dr. Hage Geingob on 24 February 2024 in Windhoek that Kasama Road, a major road in Lusaka, has been renamed after the late Dr Hage Geingob. This is with immediate effect.
