The flag carrier of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Airlines, has increased the frequency of flights to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The airline introduced at fith weekly service between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA) in Victoria Falls on 01 July 2022. Flights are now operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Ethiopian Airlines representative Menbere Worku told ZBC News*, "the reason for the increase of the frequency is there is increased demand and many countries have lifted travel restrictions". According to the ZBC, Ethiopian Airlines is also planning to launch flights to Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport (BUQ) in Bulawayo from November 2022.
