South African low-cost airline kulula has announced that it has fully restored its pre-COVID route network with the re-launch of a double-daily service between Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town and King Shaka International Airport (DUR) in Durban. In the case of the Cape Town and Durban service, capacity has actually increased, says Desmond O'Connor, kulula Chief Commercial Officer. According to Desmond O'Connor, this is a highly popular route, particularly over weekends and school holidays. Kulula currently has over 10,000 passengers booked in November and over 3,000 for December already.
