South African low-cost airline FlySafair has announced that it got its rights application approved to operate flights between South Africa and the island nation of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. The route will be launched as soon as Mauritius' current travel ban to and from South Africa is getting lifted. FlySafair is planning to operate two-weekly flights between OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) on Mauritius, the main island of Republic of Mauritius.
