The flag carrier of Belgium, Brussels Airlines, will start operating a 4th and 5th weekly service to Entebbe (Uganda) and Kigali (Rwanda) respectively between 01 June 2012 and 30 Sept 2012. The flights will be with a A330-300 aircraft. Brussels Airlines currently operates Brussels – Kigali – Entebbe – Brussels routing, as well as Brussels – Kigali – Nairobi – Brussels once a week.
Brussels Airlines, a Star Alliance member, is headquartered on the grounds of Brussels Airport in Belgium, and is a subsidiary of Lufthansa. It is the largest airline based in Belgium, operating to over 65 destinations in 20 European countries as well as long-haul flights to East, Central and West Africa.
