Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has announced an update on the ongoing works in the drop-off and arrivals area at King Shaka International Airport (DUR) in Durban. The construction work entered a new phase where works are carried out along the outer lane of the elevated roadway and selected locations at the arrival level outside the terminal building. This phase of work started on 19 September 2023 and will be carried out to 10 October 2023. During this period the outer lane of the elevated roadway is closed from 19:00 to 05:00 the next day and all traffic on the elevated roadway is getting diverted to the inner lane. Selected locations at the arrivals level are getting suitably screened and marked. ACSA is advising airport users to exercise caition during this time. We'll keep you posted!
