Although the Chapman's Peak Drive is currently closed for essential repairs, the toll fees for Cape Town's famous coastal drive will increase to R22 for registered minibus taxi operators, R29 for motorcycles and R45 for light motor vehicles with effect from 01 July 2017*. Road users with a valid Wild Card, which can be obtained from South African National Parks or CapeNature, who have registered with Entilini Concession* receive a discount from the first trip; registered frequent users receive a discount with effect from the fourth trip in a calendar month. Registered frequent users can use a credit card or a card supplied by Entabeni Concession.
* inflation-linked annual increase in toll fees plus 0,4%
** Entabeni Concession is the name of the special purpose company established by the consortium - Concor Holdings, Haw & Inglis, and Marib Holdings - to rehabilitate operate and maintain Chapman's Peak Drive for 30 years as a toll road.
