Kenya set to introduce four-day transit visas!
Kenya will start issuing 96 hour (4 day) transit visas to foreign passengers from January 2018. The visa will allow those awaiting connecting flights at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi to exit the airport and visit the city or take short extensions to some of Kenya's national parks. The new 96 hour (4 day transit visa will only apply to passengers on Kenya Airways flights. Kenya currently issues 72 hour (3 day) visas to passengers on layovers.
