South African Airways (SAA) has announced that it will increase its number of flights to Mauritius. The airline will introduce a second daily morning flight to meet the growing demand from travellers between South Africa and the tropical island destination. Effective 01 December 2024, the first morning flight will depart OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg at 09:40 and arrive at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) on Mauritius at 15:40, while the second morning flight will start in Johannesburg at 10:45 and land on Mauritius at 16:45. The return flights will depart Mauritius at 16:30 (arrival time im Johannesburg at 18:45) and 17:35 (arrival time in Johannesburg at 20:00).
