South African National Parks (SANParks) has announced that the Nettleton stairs at Lions Head in Cape Town's Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) will be closed due to maintenance from 01 November 2023 to 10 November 2023. The public access will be limited during this time. SANParks kindly requests National Park users to make use of other approved footpaths.
Lion's Head is a mountain in Cape Town between Table Mountain and Signal Hill. It peaks at 669 metres above sea level. Lion's Head is known for its views of both the city and the Atlantic Seaboard. The hour-long walk to the top is particularly popular during full moon.
