South Africa: Airlink to launch flights between Johannesburg <> Upington!

South African regional carrier Airlink is set to launch a new service between OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and Upington Airport (UTN) in Upington. Effective 31 August 2020, the airline will operate a morning return flight to Upington on Mondays and an afternoon return flight on Thursdays and Fridays. Also on 31 August 2020, the airline will introduce an additional flight between Johannesburg  and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) in Nelspruit on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays).
All international passenger flights in South Africa remain prohibited except those flights authorised by the Minister of Transport. Domestic passenger air travel remains not permitted for recreational, leisure or tourism purposes.
