update (03 May 2020): Air Namibia will operate flights to Lüderitz and Oranjemund on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays instead of Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline will conduct mandatory temperature testing on all passengers before boarding. Furthermore, all passengers are expected to wear their face masks in public spaces and throughout the flight.
Namibia's flag carrier, Air Namibia, is set to resume domestic operations in line with stage two of the country's four-stage strategy to exit its coronavirus lockdown, which will become effective on 05 May 2020. From 06 May 2020, the airline will operate domestic return flights from Eros Airport (ERS) in Windhoek to Andimba Toivo ya Toivo Airport (OND) in Ondangwa, Rundu Airport (NDU) in Rundu, Katima Mulilo Airport (MPA) in Katima Mulilo, Lüderitz Airport (LUD) in Lüderitz, Oranjemund Airport (OMD) in Oranjemund and Walvis Bay Airport (WVB) in Walvis Bay. Regional and international flights remain suspended.
