Telegraph Travel Awards 2019: Cape Town has scooped the Best City Award for the seventh consecutive year!

For the seventh consecutive year, Cape Town in South Africa has scooped the Best City Award in the 2019 edition of one of Britain's most comprehensive, wide-ranging and reliable reader travel surveys, the annual Telegraph Travel Awards. Over 39,000 readers of the "The Telegraph" took part in the survey and voted for their favourite travel destinations. Vancouver in Canada and Kyoto in Japan are this year's runner-ups.
